Top Ventures LLC is a car rental business based in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area, providing weekly vehicle rentals primarily to rideshare and delivery drivers (e.g., Uber, DoorDash) as well as commuters.

Eligibility to Rent

To rent a vehicle from Top Rentals, you must:

• Be at least 21 years of age (or the minimum age we specify at booking);
• Hold a valid, unexpired driver's license;
• Provide accurate identification and contact information, including a valid phone number and address;
• Pass any screening we require (which may include a driving record or background check); and
• Agree to maintain the vehicle in accordance with these Terms and any rental agreement signed at pickup.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who does not meet these requirements.

Booking & Reservations

• Submitting a booking request through our website or booking form does not guarantee a reservation. Reservations are confirmed only after we contact you and you sign a separate rental agreement.
• Weekly rates, vehicle availability, and terms shown on our website are subject to change without notice until a reservation is confirmed.
• We may cancel or decline a reservation at our discretion, including for failed eligibility checks or vehicle unavailability.

Rental Agreement

Each rental is governed by a separate, signed rental agreement executed at the time of pickup. That agreement will include specific terms regarding:

• Rental period and renewal/extension terms;
• Payment amount, due dates, and accepted payment methods;
• Security deposits, if applicable;
• Mileage limits and fuel policy;
• Permitted and prohibited uses of the vehicle (e.g., rideshare/delivery use, prohibited use for illegal activity, racing, or subletting);
• Vehicle condition at pickup and return; and
• Late return and early termination terms.

If anything in these Terms conflicts with your signed rental agreement, the rental agreement controls.

Payment

• Weekly rental rates are due in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Late payments may result in additional fees, suspension of rental privileges, or recovery of the vehicle.
• All fees (including any deposits, cleaning fees, or damage charges) will be disclosed in your rental agreement.

Vehicle Use & Renter Responsibilities

While in possession of a Top Rentals vehicle, you agree to:

• Operate the vehicle safely and in compliance with all applicable traffic and vehicle laws;
• Maintain valid insurance coverage as required by your rental agreement and Louisiana law;
• Not use the vehicle for any illegal purpose;
• Not allow anyone who is not an authorized driver under the rental agreement to operate the vehicle;
• Report any accident, damage, mechanical issue, or theft to us as soon as reasonably possible; and
• Return the vehicle in the condition it was provided, ordinary wear and tear excepted.

You are financially responsible for any damage, traffic citations, tolls, or impound fees incurred during your rental period, except to the extent covered by insurance or otherwise stated in your rental agreement.

Insurance & Liability

• You are responsible for maintaining insurance coverage as required by your rental agreement and applicable law.
• Top Rentals is not liable for personal injury, loss of income, or property damage arising from your use of a rental vehicle, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct, or as otherwise required by law.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, Top Rentals's total liability arising out of any rental is limited to the amount you paid for that rental.

Text Messaging (SMS) Communications

By providing your phone number and opting in through our website's chat widget or booking process, you consent to receive text messages from Top Ventures LLC related to:

• Booking confirmations and updates;
• Customer service and account communications; and
• Occasional promotional or informational messages, where you have opted in to receive them.

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or contacting us using the information in Section 11. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase or rental. See our Privacy Policy for more on how we handle your information.

Website Use

• You agree not to misuse our website, including by attempting to interfere with its normal operation, submitting false information, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
• All content on our website (logos, text, images) is owned by Top Ventures LLC or its licensors and may not be used without permission.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
